Family Movie Night

On Friday, October 17, at 7pm in the OLG Conference center, we will be showing a movie. But get this—there will be one option for the adults (Gifted Hands) and one for the younger guys (Lady and the Tramp). I, along with some other volunteers, will be upstairs with the little guys. Parents—this means you get a 90 minute breather, for free! So, while you get to come together as a family and experience something together, we will save you from watching one more Disney movie (and don’t get me wrong, I love Disney, but in small doses).

Even if your kids are grown up, you’re single, or a teen looking to do something for the night, COME! It’s important to remember that by being members of the Catholic Church, we are all a family.

These are two of my favorite movies. For those of you who haven’t seen Gifted Hands, this film is based on the true story of a renowned brain surgeon, whose gift of faith helped him to change the course of medicine forever. As for Lady and the Tramp, well I’m still waiting for my meatball moment, but I’m sure that day will come. Still not hooked? Check out the trailers below!

I look forward to seeing you, and spending time with you as the family that we are!
