                                                            JOURNALING WITH JESUS

The Prologue of the Catechism of the Catholic Church states:

'I. The life of man - to know and love God

1 God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. (emphasis added) He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Saviour. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life.

God draws close to man. How can man draw close to God?

      Journaling.

Journaling can bring us into a depth of relationship with the Trinity we could never imagine. In as little as seven minutes a day, you can change your relationship with God and help you put both feet on the Rock of Jesus Christ.

Once a week, small groups gather to seek the Kingdom and the heart of God. From these gatherings, a question or a Scripture is put forth to contemplate and write on weekly. At the next meeting seekers share their insight and discuss what God is saying. This is a relaxed way to meet and fellowship with others seeking a deeper friendship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

For more information contact the Abba House of Mercy and Prayer at 524-9609.

Who am I?

Why am I here?

God, what do you want from me?

Who are you Jesus?

Who do you say I am?

Where is my life going?

Can I ever be forgiven?
