Abba House of Mercy and Prayer
A place to be heard. A place to be prayed with.
A place for healing.

Like any good father, God has a great plan for His children. The book of Jeremiah 29:11-13 tells us, “I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Would our Abba Daddy contradict Himself if He promised us something so essential as hope and a future? He sent Jesus as the assurance of our hope (Hebrews 6:19-20).  Sickness and infirmity are not part of our Father's plan for his children.

Scripture tells us our citizenship is in Heaven. (Philippians 3:20) Sickness, disease, infirmity, depression, oppression, and the like have no place in the Kingdom of God. As citizens of the Kingdom, they have no place within us.

The two major conditions that block healing are unrepented sin and unforgiveness.  Through repentance and forgiveness, God’s grace can abound in physical, mental, and emotional situations that were considered hopeless.

The Abba House of Mercy and Prayer at Saint André Bessette Parish, on the Sacred Heart campus in Laconia, offers sound teaching and prayer to help address the needs of individuals seeking physical healing, inner healing, and deliverance.

When we are born and receive Sacramental Baptism,  we have a clean slate.

Yet we are not perfect. After the disobedience of our first parents, we inherited a fallen nature and all the things sin brings with it. We need a Savior!

Understanding God’s heart for your life is essential to the health of your spirit, soul, and body.  Hosea 4:6 tell us, "My people perish for lack of knowledge."

There is another, the accuser of the children of God (Rev. 12:10) who has your worst interests at heart. Jesus described his tactics in John 10:10. "It is the thief who comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that you may have life and have it in abundance.

Abundant life is why Jesus came. He came for our salvation, healing, and deliverance! The Greek word is
